Fursan Al Sena’a, aka; the Knights of Industry, is a program that encourages the local industrial sector, highlighting the core importance of it in contributing to the economic diversification.
The program aims to familiarize Kuwaiti adolescents with the history of the local industries and its current role in the prosperity of the local economy.
Additionally, this practical program helps participants in their future employment and internship opportunities by exposing them to the different sectors in the market.
Fursan Al Sena’a is organized by KIU on an annual basis during the spring and summer breaks. The structured program includes fieldtrips, workshops and training sessions.
In collaboration with LOYAC, KIU brings together 20 to 25 students to attend the program. Since its launch in 2014, around 252 students from private and public schools graduated the program.
