Industrial facilities are keen to provide a safe and healthy work environment, free of all types of chemical, mechanical, biological and environmental risks. The role of the safety officer is to employ his knowledge and skills to take procedures and precautions that help eliminate and mitigate risks in the facility. As well as ensuring that all work and activities take into account potential risks, protect the safety of people and property, protect the environment and improve productivity.
The program focuses on the main occupational safety and health concepts in industrial facilities, and on the basic skills and tools necessary to ensure success in implementing an occupational safety and health program in an industrial facility.
